5.7.2 PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse Connection
The NANO-9453 has a single PS/2 connector on the external peripheral interface panel.
The PS/2 connector is connected to a keyboard and a mouse through the keyboard and
mouse cable that was shipped with the system. To connect a keyboard and mouse to the
NANO-9453, please follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Locate the PS/2 connector. The location of the PS/2 connector is shown in
Chapter 3.
Step 2: Align the PS/2 connector. Align the PS/2 connector on the keyboard and
mouse cable with the PS/2 connector on the external peripheral interface.
Step 3: Insert the PS/2 connector. Once the connectors are properly, insert thePS/2
connector from the keyboard and mouse cable into the PS/2 connector on the
NANO-9453. See
Figure 5-22.

Step 4: Connect the keyboard and mouse. Once the cable is connected to the
